Double O.G. is the older brother of O.G. and one of the more complex characters in Homies Series 8. After spending twenty years in prison, he returns to the neighbourhood alongside his former cellmate, Perico, and moves into a small shack behind O.G.’s home.
Adapting to life outside is difficult. Double O.G. has become used to the routines and structure of prison, while the outside world has changed considerably during his absence. He is often frustrated by employment applications, particularly when potential employers judge him only by his criminal record rather than giving him an opportunity to prove himself.
His anger sometimes causes him to walk away before anyone can reject him, making reintegration even harder. Despite these challenges, Double O.G. and Perico remain determined to avoid returning to prison and begin looking for honest ways to support themselves.
Using skills developed during their time inside, the pair carve and paint Homies wall clocks and coffee tables, selling their handmade pieces at the local pulga. The work does not provide much money, but it gives them purpose, keeps them productive and helps them remain out of trouble.
Collectors appreciate Double O.G. because his story explores the difficulties of rebuilding a life after incarceration. His connections to O.G. and Perico add depth to Series 8 while introducing themes of rehabilitation, responsibility and the importance of genuine second chances.
Double O.G. may be available in new or pre-owned condition, with original-bag options on selected listings. Review the chosen condition and packaging option before ordering.
