Babylocs is a respected old-school veterana and the protective older sister of Sad Girl. A true lowriding barrio Chola, she lived La Vida Loca and cruised the neighbourhood with her Homegirls in her own customised 1963 Chevrolet Impala Lowrider.
Although Babylocs had experienced the gang lifestyle herself, she wanted something better for her younger sister. She watched over Sad Girl closely, encouraging her to stay focused on school and avoid the choices that had shaped Babylocs’ own life. She was especially proud that Sad Girl and Dreamer planned to attend college, giving their family hope for a different future.
That future changed after the tragedy at Sad Girl’s graduation party. Overcome by grief and anger, Babylocs chose revenge instead of allowing the community to deal with the loss peacefully. Her actions led to a serious crime and a long prison sentence, separating the sisters and leaving them able to maintain their bond only through letters.
Babylocs’ story is not intended to celebrate retaliation. It shows how violence can continue from one person to the next, affecting families long after the original event. Her love for Sad Girl was genuine, but the decision she made in anger created further danger and pain for the person she had always tried to protect.
Collectors appreciate Babylocs because her story connects directly with Sad Girl and Dreamer while adding emotional weight to the wider Homies universe. Her classic lowrider identity, protective nature and cautionary storyline make her one of the most significant characters in Series 6.
Babylocs may be available in new or pre-owned condition, with original-bag options on selected listings. Review the chosen condition and packaging option before ordering.
