Zombie the Homie wasn’t always like this. Once, he was one of the freshest-looking Homies around. His fate changed when he stepped into La Gitana’s shop on Venice Beach, hoping to get lucky numbers for the lottery. Instead, Gitana gave him a mysterious liquid from a jar. Thinking it would help him see the winning numbers, he drank it—only to realize too late that it was a death curse. Now, he’s the walking dead, bound to Gitana by her Voodoo magic. Rolling through the barrio in his custom lowrider hearse, he works for the local undertaker, picking up and delivering bodies. He clings to the hope that one day, he’ll find a cure and reclaim his old life. Until then… he remains a Zombie.
