Poncon has been known by that nickname ever since he was a little Homie. As a kid, he always had a big panza, so his family affectionately called him Pancito. As he grew older, his little tummy grew right along with him, and before long everyone in Barrio Quien Sabe was calling him Poncon.
Unlike some people, Poncon has never been self-conscious about his size. He wears his belly with pride because, to him, good food is one of life's greatest pleasures. His favourites include carnitas, chicharrones, pan dulce, nachos, tacos and just about anything coming off the barbecue. Fast food is another weakness, and whenever someone asks if he'd like to supersize the meal, his answer is always the same—"Of course!"
Family gatherings, backyard cookouts and neighbourhood fiestas are Poncon's favourite places to be. While everyone else is talking, he's making sure nobody leaves hungry. He's always first in line for the food and usually the one encouraging everyone to go back for seconds.
Behind the jokes and his oversized appetite is a genuinely friendly Homie who enjoys bringing people together. Poncon reminds everyone that some of life's best memories are made around a table full of family, friends and great food.
