The Homie Dre is loosely inspired by my son Andres. I was always amazed at how much time he spent in front of the TV ironing his clothes. It reminded me of back in the day when I had a roommate who did the same thing. He’d spend an hour ironing, then another hour spit-shining his shoes. Afterward, he’d set them on the floor and walk circles around them, bragging about how fresh they looked—so sharp they could walk without him. I’m sure some of you OGs know exactly what I’m talking about. We all knew this Homie.
