Spider is a close Homeboy of Oso, known for his laid-back and cool demeanor. Tall and lanky, he earned his nickname as a kid because he spent most of his time in an old shack in the alley, which was crawling with spiders. He kept tarantulas and black widows as pets, using them to spook the other kids. Most of them avoided him, thinking he was strange—except for Oso, who was the only one that really got to know him. These days, Spider cruises in a slick, three-wheeling ‘62 Impala, custom painted with spiderweb designs. The ride earns him plenty of respect in the hood, but the Homies still think he’s a little offbeat.
