I am especially proud of my Homie Schoolboy. He has worked so hard to graduate. Schoolboy dropped out of Homie High School in the ninth grade. He was getting bad grades, cutting a lot, and felt that the teachers and school police had it in for him because he was Chicano. El Profe started to tutor him at his house. He got Schoolboy back into Alternative School untill he got the credits he needed to get back into Homie High School. Through hard work and regular attendance, he raised his grades to a B- average, just in time to graduate with his Senior Class. El Profe helped his parents file for financial aid (Cal Grant A) and he has been accepted to San Jose University. Guess what Homies...Schoolboy is going to College!
