The other half of the DJ duo known as Jokajams, Jokachild is one half of the sickest beat-making team in the Los Angeles area, alongside his partner in crime, Jokawild. Jokachild’s skills were honed in the golden days when mixers and scratchers ruled the scene, and battles were the only way to stay on top. Now, he’s the one spinning on the airwaves, hosting shows on KHOMY Power Series 10. His lineup includes the Morning Mindblast, the Noon-time Nasty Mix, and the Freestyle Freak Show in the evenings. Though Payday has been trying to get him to sign on to lay down tracks for his record label, Jokachild isn’t into that kind of structure—he’s all about freestyle and going with the flow.
