The Hot Wheels '63 Nova AWB "Snake Eyes" is part of the Hot Wheels Dragstrip Demons series released in 2010. Listed as Series #12/25 and Toy #V4237, this 1:64 scale collectible is based on a Chevrolet Nova altered-wheelbase drag-racing car. The model features a red and white racing finish and represents the specialised drag-racing theme of the Dragstrip Demons range.
The "Snake Eyes" name and altered-wheelbase configuration give this model a strong connection to classic American drag racing. An interesting detail from the series listing is that this model was originally intended to be #18 in the previous year's release, which explains the duplicate #12 designation appearing in the 2010 series. The 1963 Chevrolet Nova was part of Chevrolet's early compact-car range. Altered-wheelbase versions of American cars became an important part of 1960s drag racing, with modified chassis and shortened wheelbases helping create specialised competition cars with aggressive launch characteristics.
