The model represents the unusual Amphicar, a vehicle designed for both road and water use. Finished in Spectrafrost Red, this Cool Classics release offers collectors a distinctive subject that stands apart from conventional road-going cars and classic Hot Wheels castings.
The Amphicar was an unusual amphibious automobile produced in West Germany during the 1960s. Designed for use on both roads and waterways, it combined conventional car features with a boat-like hull and became one of the best-known examples of an amphibious passenger vehicle.
