Whisper may have the softest voice in Homies Series 5, but she is also the neighbourhood’s best-informed chismosa. She seems to know every new relationship, breakup and secret before anyone else, making her the person the Homies listen to whenever they want the latest barrio gossip.
Her background adds another layer of mystery to the character. Half Sicilian and half Spanish, Whisper lost her parents when she was young and was raised by her uncles Guido, Vinnie and Pauli Palermo. She insists they are ordinary businessmen who operate Palermo Family Pizza, although the Homies quietly suspect the family business may involve more than food.
Those rumours also explain why few Homeboys are willing to flirt with Whisper. Whether the stories about her uncles are true or not, nobody wants to risk upsetting the Palermo family.
Collectors appreciate Whisper because she connects humour, mystery and family storytelling within the Homies universe. Her distinctive voice, close friendship with Squeeky and links to the Palermo family make her one of the most memorable Homegirls in Series 5.
Whisper may be available in new or pre-owned condition, with original-bag options on selected listings. Review the selected option before ordering.
