Smokey is an older veterano Homie, always seen with a cigarette in hand. Years of smoking have taken a serious toll on his health, and he’s slowly being consumed by throat and lung cancer. The Homies constantly urge him to quit, but the addiction has him in its grip. As his condition worsens, he’ll have to rely on a rolling oxygen tank, and eventually, he’ll be forced to smoke through a throat stoma, speaking with the aid of a voice box. The Homies know what’s coming, and it breaks their hearts to see him fading before their eyes. Smokey just couldn’t kick the habit.
