Officer Placa is the neighbourhood police officer responsible for keeping an eye on the barrio. After more than twenty years of patrolling the same streets, he knows the Homies by name and understands the people, routines and problems that shape everyday life in the community.
He is often seen walking his regular beat or stopping at the corner doughnut shop, where he can continue watching what happens nearby. Whenever trouble breaks out, Officer Placa is usually among the first to arrive because his experience allows him to recognise when something is about to go wrong.
Although his manner can seem gruff, Officer Placa has spent decades dealing with nearly every kind of neighbourhood situation. Collectors appreciate him because he brings an important community role and a different perspective to the Homies Series 4 lineup.
