Payday is the ambitious entrepreneur behind Payday Records, a successful music label always searching for the next generation of Latino hip-hop talent. Confident that Latino artists represent the future of the industry, he spends much of his time travelling through the barrio looking for performers with star potential.
Never far from his custom Hummer, Payday is driven by Big Dawg, his trusted bodyguard and chauffeur, while B-Boy scouts emerging artists on behalf of Payday Records. Although he hopes to sign the Homie Rappers, they remain loyal to Homie Records, creating a friendly rivalry between the competing labels.
Collectors value Payday because he sits at the centre of one of the Homies universe's biggest storylines. His influence on the neighbourhood's music scene, together with his close links to B-Boy and Big Dawg, makes him one of the defining characters in the Series 3 lineup.
