Politico is one of the most message-driven characters in Homies Series 10. Wearing a wide-brimmed hat and dark sunglasses, he stands holding a sign that reads “We Are All Immigrants,” making his position clear before he even says a word.
His character reflects the political awareness and community advocacy found throughout the wider Homies universe. Rather than focusing on personal fame or entertainment, Politico draws attention to migration, shared history and the many families who built new lives through courage, work and sacrifice.
The message on his sign encourages people to look beyond labels and remember that migration has shaped communities across generations. In Barrio Quien Sabe, where characters come from Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Filipino, Native American and many other backgrounds, that message connects naturally with stories established throughout the previous series.
Politico’s design is simple but effective. The large sign remains the centre of the figure, while his plain clothing ensures the message receives most of the attention.
Collectors appreciate Politico because he brings social commentary and cultural awareness into the collection. His meaningful sign, recognisable design and connection to the diverse Homies neighbourhood make him one of the more thought-provoking Series 10 figures.
