Pirate the Homie is an unlicensed cab driver in East L.A. He figures, why waste thousands of dollars on a taxi license when he can just hustle on his own? The fact that it’s illegal doesn’t bother him one bit—after all, he is a Pirate! Arrrggghhhh...!    Pirate lost his leg years ago when he got jacked in his first cab—a bright yellow box Buick sitting on 24-inch rims. A group of thugs decided they wanted it for themselves. Pirate fought back, but they beat him down, leaving him blind in one eye and dragging him off to Santa Monica Pier in the dead of night. There, they forced him to "walk the plank," tossing him into the ocean. As if that wasn’t bad enough, a great white shark took a bite out of him—costing him his leg. It just wasn’t his day.    Despite it all, Pirate survived. After getting patched up, he hit the streets once again, back behind the wheel of a new ride—the Jolly Roger. His custom black Lincoln Town Car, covered in skull murals, is as bold as ever. And of course, he’s still rolling on 24-inch rims. Aaarrrrrgggghhhhh!
