Big Loco has one of the toughest and most intimidating appearances in Homies Series 1, but his character story moves in a very different direction. After changing the course of his life, he studied social work and became a youth counsellor.
He now uses his experience to help young people avoid the mistakes he once made. Through the Homey Outreach program, Big Loco works to resolve conflict and support younger members of the community.
The contrast between his imposing appearance and positive role gives Big Loco one of the most meaningful character stories in the original lineup. He represents personal change, responsibility and the importance of using experience to help others.
