This is Perico, an ex-con now living with Double O.G. They were cellmates for a long, long time, watching each other’s backs on the inside. The homies in the joint nicknamed him “Perico” because of his parrot-like features, and the name stuck.  Now that they’re back on the outside, Perico and Double O.G. are more than just roommates—they’re business partners. Perico is a skilled artist who used to do serious inkwork in prison. These days, he’s channeling his talent into designing Homie-themed clocks and coffee tables to sell at the pulga (flea market). He sketches out the designs, while Double O.G. puts his prison woodshop skills to work, building them from scratch.  Their little hustle is doing well, and their overhead stays low—thanks to a steady supply of free materials from a local construction site. They just have to make sure to pick them up at night… when no one’s watching.
