Milkyway comes from a mixed background—his father was Irish, and his mother is Mexican. When he was young, his father passed away in a car accident, leaving his family in financial hardship. With nowhere else to turn, he and his mother moved in with his *abuelita* in the barrio.      Growing up, Milkyway rolled with the Homies and fully embraced Chicano culture. He learned to speak Spanish fluently—better than most of the other Homies, in fact. But life wasn’t always easy for him. His fair skin and blond hair made him stand out, and he often faced teasing or even fights. Because of this, he’s had to prove himself more than others, and sometimes he carries a chip on his shoulder. But at the end of the day, Milkyway knows that being a Homie isn’t about what’s on the outside—it’s about what’s in your heart.
