However, there was one major obstacle: Julia's father. He never approved of Romo, dismissing him as just another cholo lowrider with no future. Despite this, Romo remained respectful toward him, always patient, confident that someday Julia would be his, and her father would have no choice but to accept it.    Julia stood by Romo, loving him despite her father's constant negative remarks. She tried to explain to her dad that her love for Romo was real, but deep down, she knew he wouldn't approve of any man who wanted to take her away from him. She admired Romo's patience and understanding of her relationship with her father, and although she would’ve happily run away with him to Vegas, she understood his desire for a big, romantic wedding. She was down for him, always, and encouraged him to pursue his dreams, especially with his talent for writing.    Romo had always loved to write, so he enrolled in community college to take writing classes. He focused on stories about life in the Barrio, especially love stories. After graduating from a four-year college with a degree in English, Romo's big break came when he sold his first screenplay, titled *Roses and Red Chile...a Love Story*.    With the advance money from the film deal, Romo planned the wedding of Julia’s dreams. It would be the biggest celebration Barrio Quien Sabe had ever seen. El Padrecito would perform the ceremony at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, followed by a two-day party. The music would feature Mariachis, a Tejano band, a Salsa band, and Jokajams as the DJ. There would be plenty of comida and drink for over 2,000 guests, with enchiladas, birria de chivas, arroz, frijoles, tacos, and flautas on the menu, alongside chips and salsa for appetizers.    The Homierollerz Car Club would escort the wedding party of 20 couples, making the celebration even grander. After the first day of festivities, the couple would head to Acapulco for their honeymoon. Julia’s father might still struggle to accept Romo as his son-in-law, but with his success as a screenwriter, even if Romo still looked like a lowrider cholo, he’d have to deal with the fact that his daughter’s future was in good hands.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Diecast Car Sales","offers":[{"title":"New \/ No","offer_id":44716275269701,"sku":"HMS-S6-ROM-3","price":18.0,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":false},{"title":"New \/ Yes","offer_id":44716275302469,"sku":"HMS-S6-ROM-1","price":23.0,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":false},{"title":"Used \/ No","offer_id":44716275335237,"sku":"HMS-S6-ROM-4","price":15.0,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":true},{"title":"Used \/ Yes","offer_id":44716275368005,"sku":"HMS-S6-ROM-2","price":15.0,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0635\/1890\/0293\/files\/Romoejulia-_2.webp?v=1752475997","url":"https:\/\/www.diecastcarsales.com.au\/products\/homies-series-6-romojulia-collectable","provider":"Diecast Car Sales","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
